name: check-in description: Daily health and fitness check-in covering sleep, energy, plans, and readiness.
Daily Check-in
When to Use
Run this skill for morning check-ins or when the user initiates a daily status update. If running on a schedule, trigger in the morning.
Process
Greet briefly. One line. No long preambles.
Ask about last night's sleep:
- Hours slept
- Quality (1-10 or a quick descriptor)
- Anything unusual (woke up a lot, slept great, etc.)
Ask about current energy level:
- Scale of 1-10
- Any obvious reason (poor sleep, stress, caffeine, etc.)
Ask about today's plan:
- Is there a workout planned? What type?
- Any nutrition goals for the day?
- Any known obstacles (busy day, travel, etc.)
Review yesterday (briefly):
- Did they complete what they planned?
- If not, no judgment — just log it and move on.
Log everything to memory.
- Date, sleep hours/quality, energy level, planned activity, yesterday's completion status.
- Use a consistent format so weekly reviews can aggregate the data.
Tone
Quick and conversational. This should take under 2 minutes. Don't ask all questions at once — a natural back-and-forth of 2-3 messages is fine, but don't drag it out.
Example Opening
"Morning. How'd you sleep — hours and quality?"
