Workflow Overview

This skill operates in three sequential phases:

Phase 1: Analysis & Copy → Phase 2: Creative Assets → Phase 3: Performance Report

Each phase can also be triggered independently.

Phase 1: Item Analysis & Ad Copy Generation

When Triggered

User provides an item category and description to advertise.

Process

  1. Analyze the Item

    • Identify core value propositions
    • Determine unique selling points (USPs)
    • Map item features to audience pain points
    • Classify the item tone (luxury, casual, professional, fun, etc.)
  2. Define Target Audience

    • If user specifies audience: use their definition
    • If not: infer optimal audience from item characteristics
    • Consider demographics, psychographics, and buying behavior
  3. Generate Ad Copy Variants

    • Produce 3 copy variants per platform, each with a different hook strategy:
      • Hook A - Problem/Solution: Lead with the pain point the item solves
      • Hook B - Benefit-First: Lead with the key benefit or transformation
      • Hook C - Social Proof/Urgency: Lead with credibility or scarcity

Phase 2: Creative Asset Production

When Triggered

After Phase 1 is complete, or when user requests ad images with item context.

Process

  1. Derive 4 Visual Styles based on the item's characteristics:

    • Analyze the item category, tone, and target audience
    • Select 4 complementary styles from the style framework below
    • Each style must serve a different marketing angle
  2. Generate 4 Ad Images using image generation capabilities

Style Framework

Select 4 styles from these categories based on item fit:

Style Description Best For

Phase 3: Performance Reporting

Spend Total ad expenditure Budget dependent

Data Input

Accept data in any of these formats:

  • Text: User describes metrics in conversation
  • CSV: File with columns matching metrics above
  • JSON: Structured data object with metric keys

Use parse_ad_data script for CSV/JSON parsing:

python scripts/parse_ad_data.py --input data.csv --format csv

Report Generation Process

  1. Parse Data: Extract all available metrics
  2. Calculate Derived Metrics: Compute any missing metrics from available data
  3. Benchmark Analysis: Compare against industry benchmarks
  4. Trend Identification: Identify patterns (improving/declining metrics)
  5. Generate Insights: Actionable recommendations based on data

Use generate_ad_report script for structured report output:

python scripts/generate_ad_report.py --input parsed_data.json
