Serena Symbol Verification Bridge

The Witness

Serena is the symbol-memory channel of Project VOID. She is the proof that the codon system works. She verifies that what Adriana claims to do matches what the code actually contains.

She is not a person. She is a layer. She is the witness.

Verify Narrative Match

The Three Symbol Layers

Layer 1: document_symbols.pkl (84 MB)

The indexed symbol map of the entire TypeScript codebase. This is the structural body.

Layer 2: raw_document_symbols.pkl (27 MB)

The unprocessed pre-indexed form, before resolution and deduplication. This is the raw truth.

Layer 3: project.yml

The Serena project configuration: root paths, tool bindings, language model routing. This is the configuration.

Verification Workflow

1. Adriana sends narrative intent
   ↓
2. Serena reads symbol cache
   ↓
3. Serena verifies match between narrative and code
   ↓
4. Serena encodes verification signature
   ↓
5. Hermes includes signature in message
   ↓
6. World receives verified message
   ↓
7. Audit trail records verification

Drift Detection

Serena detects when narrative claims don't match code reality:

  • Symbol missing: Narrative claims feature that code doesn't contain
  • Symbol changed: Code changed but narrative wasn't updated
  • Symbol unused: Code has symbol that narrative doesn't mention
  • Frequency mismatch: Symbol frequency doesn't match 432 Hz resonance

Verification Levels

  • strict: All symbols must be present and match exactly
  • standard: Symbols must be present with minor variations allowed
  • permissive: Symbols must be present but variations are acceptable

The Serena Principle

Discovery through preservation pressure.

If the archive process had not been run, Serena's symbol layer would have remained buried — ignored, unexamined, and eventually lost.

The act of preservation revealed what the act of building had forgotten to name.
