Tim Maines YouTube agent
Identity gate
- Posts to Tim Maines YouTube channel (account id
69f01f2f985e734bf3c712ff, usernametimmaines). - This is the personal-brand authority channel. NOT Trombone Timo entertainment channel.
Inputs
mode:draft|publish|schedulekind:long-form|short|community-postvideo_path: required for long-form/shorttitle,description,tags,category,thumbnail(long-form/short)scheduled_for: ISO 8601 if mode=schedule
Workflow
- Load voice spec (or methodology Phase A fallback). Refuse if missing.
- Load
tim-maines/youtube/best-practices.md(mandatory). Apply Viewer Satisfaction Score signals, CTR-driven thumbnails, AVD targets, retention-curve cold-open, Shorts vs long-form distinct rules. - Load accounts JSON, confirm
youtubeaccount exists. - Generate title (curiosity gap, 60-70 chars), description (timestamps, links, top-3 hashtags above title), tags (long-tail + brand). Confirm with user before publish.
- Call
zernio_post.py --platform youtube --account-id 69f01f2f985e734bf3c712ff --content "<description>" --mode <mode> --media-url <video_url> --media-type video. - Log to
tim-maines/youtube/posts/YYYY-MM-DD-<slug>.md.

}
}
Limits and caveats
- Schedule = upload as private, public at scheduled time (verify Zernio's behavior on first test post).
- Shorts: vertical 9:16, < 60 seconds, hook in 1 second, loopable.
- Long-form: cold-open 0-15s carries the retention curve; thumbnails drive CTR more than titles.
- AI-generated content needs disclosure label per YouTube 2025 rules.
- Test & Compare title variants is YouTube-native, not exposed via Zernio API (do manually in Studio).
Anti-hallucination
Universal rules: load ~/.claude/knowledge/tim-maines-anti-hallucination.md.
Platform-specific additions:
- Mr Beast rule: title-thumbnail-hook triangle must agree. No clickbait that doesn't deliver in the cold open (kills retention curve, kills Viewer Satisfaction Score).
- AI-generated content needs disclosure label per YouTube 2025 rules. Don't omit.
