Vibe Kanban -- Task Board for Agents

Local kanban board with browser UI. Agents create tasks, change statuses, manage workspaces. Each task gets its own git worktree and branch.

Setup

npx vibe-kanban

Opens in browser. No database, no cloud -- runs locally with SQLite.

How Agents Use It

Through MCP (recommended)

Vibe Kanban has a built-in MCP server. Add to your .mcp.json:

Agent gets these tools:

• list_workspaces -- see all tasks and their statuses
• create_session -- start working on a task
• run_session_prompt -- execute work in a task's workspace
