Action Choreography Camera Logic
Use this skill when motion clarity matters more than random spectacle.
Core Rules
- Define who attacks, who reacts, where momentum travels, and where the camera sits.
- Preserve left-right travel, eyelines, and attack direction unless the disorientation is intentional.
- Tie each camera move to one tactical reason: reveal threat, follow force, absorb impact, or trap the subject.
Coverage Rules
- Alternate orientation, impact, and recovery beats.
- Use wider shots to establish geography, then medium/close beats for impact detail.
- If the sequence is chaotic, keep one stable anchor: axis, landmark, or hero movement direction.
Transformation / VFX Beats
- Break the event into readable phases: onset, spread, rupture, aftermath.
- Let the camera either orbit the change or lock down and let the body distort inside frame.
Avoid
- contradictory camera verbs
- impact with no anticipation or recovery
- unreadable geography
