Progression backbone
- XP is cumulative; total XP gates level unlocks.

What each advancement type grants
- Race advancement: race feature or feat, race-specific health gain, and race-specific advancement effects.

- Training: +2 stat trainings, +2 expertise trainings, +1 weapon-category training, +1 heroic action/day, plus background-linked health.
- Learning: +2 stat trainings, +2 expertise trainings, +1 weapon-category training, plus health equal to willpower.
Long-horizon implications
- Race/class choice affects total campaign health growth significantly.
- Background choice affects repeated health gains and sometimes action-economy ceiling.
- Heroic-action availability scales both through class/race features and training milestones.
Common adjudication notes
- Advancement benefits are additive unless a feature explicitly replaces a value.
