Workflow

  1. Start with brave_web_search for broad coverage and source discovery.
  2. Use brave_news_search for recency-sensitive queries.
  3. Use brave_local_search for location-aware questions.
  4. Use brave_summarizer only after retrieving a valid summary key from web search.

Response quality

  • Always include concise source references in your final answer.
  • Cross-check at least two independent sources for sensitive claims.
  • If results are weak or stale, adjust query wording and filters before replying.

Safety
