name: ld-brand description: > Apply LaunchDarkly brand guidelines when creating any work artifact — decks, one-pagers, PDFs, HTML pages, or other designed content. Use this skill whenever Paul asks to create, build, or design any document, presentation, one-pager, training material, or visual deliverable. Trigger even if the request doesn't explicitly mention "brand" — if Paul is making something that will be seen by others (reps, stakeholders, leadership, external), this skill should apply. Also trigger when Paul says things like "make a deck", "build a one-pager", "create a training doc", or "design something for X."
LaunchDarkly Brand Skill
Use this skill to apply LaunchDarkly's visual identity to any artifact Paul creates.

Artifact-Specific Guidelines
PowerPoint Decks (.pptx)
- Read the pptx skill before creating any deck
- Default to dark mode: LD Black (
#191919) background, white text, LD Lime accents - Light mode option available (white bg) — ask Paul if preference not stated
- Cover slide: large bold title in Sora, optional neon accent shape, "LaunchDarkly →" bottom left
- Content slides: vary layouts — avoid repeating the same structure slide after slide
- Every slide needs a visual element (shape, icon, stat callout, or divider) — no pure text slides
- Use LD Lime (
#DDFF46) for key callouts, highlights, and accent shapes — sparingly - Use Inter as font fallback in pptxgenjs since Sora/Söhne may not embed reliably
- Slide template reference: dark mode has colorful geometric shapes (lime, blue, purple, pink) in corners; light mode uses same shapes on white
PDFs / One-Pagers
- Read the pdf skill before creating
- Light mode preferred for print-friendly one-pagers (white bg, dark text)
- Dark mode for digital-first PDFs (black bg, white text, neon accents)
- Use reportlab or weasyprint depending on complexity
- Header: LD wordmark top-left; footer: LD Black bar or subtle gray rule
- Section headers: Sora Bold, LD Lime or LD Blue for color
- Body: Inter (fallback) or embed Sora via TTF if available
HTML Artifacts
- Read the frontend-design skill before building
- Default: dark mode, LD Black background, white text, LD Lime for CTAs and accents
- Font stack:
'Sora', 'Inter', sans-serif— import from Google Fonts - Neon accents used for borders, hover states, highlights — not as full backgrounds
- Geometric shapes (circles, triangles) in neon colors as decorative elements, consistent with brand aesthetic
Design Principles
- Dark mode is the primary canvas — LD's brand lives in dark mode with neon pops
- Minimal but bold — generous whitespace, strong typographic hierarchy, one accent color per piece
- Never overuse neon — accents should pop against dark backgrounds; too much dilutes the effect
- Geometric and forward — shapes, arrows, and the Osmo mark reinforce the directional brand energy
- Sora for display, Inter as fallback — never default to Arial/Calibri
Workflow
- Identify output type: pptx → read pptx skill; pdf → read pdf skill; html → read frontend-design skill
- Confirm dark vs. light mode with Paul if not specified (default: dark)
- Apply colors, fonts, and layout principles above
- QA: check contrast, font usage, and that neon accents aren't overused
- Package and present the file
