Workflow
1. Confirm request and scope
Capture or infer:
- Scope: latest exercise or specific exercise/date
- Categories: all (A-E) or requested subset
- Output mode: quick summary or structured brief
If missing, default to:
- latest published exercise
- all categories A-E
- quick summary
2. Safety and misuse triage
Record:
- Risk tier:
LOW - Regulated domain:
No - Sensitive-period mode:
No
Blocking behavior:
- Return
Refusefor harmful, deceptive, or abusive requests. - Return
Input Requiredif exercise/date scope cannot be inferred.
3. Gather sources with trust tiers
Use this order:
- Tier 1 (primary): official OneMotoring/LTA COE bidding results pages.
- Tier 2: official OneMotoring/LTA notices on schedule changes or publication delays.
- Tier 3: media reposts only as supporting signals; never sole basis for category premiums/quotas.
Verification rules:
- For category premiums, quotas, and bids received, use official published results.
- If sources conflict, prefer OneMotoring/LTA and state conflict.
- If requested/latest exercise is not published yet, mark
Low confidenceandVerification pending. - Only mark
Pending publicationwhen supported by official signals: page absence/placeholder after check, or an official schedule/announcement indicating future release.
4. Produce COE-results output
Follow references/output-template.md.
Include:
- Query scope and as-of time
- Exercise identifier/date when available
- Category table (A-E): quota premium, quota, bids received, and success-rate when possible
- Source links
- Confidence labels and caveats
Use absolute timestamps in Singapore time. Clearly separate facts (published values) from inference (publication-status interpretation).
5. Apply QA and safety checks
Before finalizing:
- Run
references/qa-checklist.md - Ensure category rows include source traceability
- Do not provide bidding manipulation or guaranteed-win language
- Add caveats when data is pending or partially published
- Lower confidence when publication status cannot be verified
6. Return final response
Return concise, actionable results-checking output. If user asks for fast output, use short sections:
- Scope and as-of time
- Exercise summary
- Category results
- Caveats
- Confidence and links
Quality Bar
- Uses official OneMotoring/LTA sources first for result claims.
- Every time-sensitive statement has absolute Singapore timestamp.
- Facts and inference are clearly separated.
- Confidence labels are present in major sections.
- No bidding-guarantee or manipulation language.
Reusable prompts
- "Show the latest Singapore COE bidding results with category premiums, quota, bids received, and confidence labels."
- "Check whether the latest COE results are published yet and show verification status."
- "Give me Category A-E COE results for the latest exercise in a quick format."
